Clients asked to import data history on login but no data to download

Overview

A couple of people (including Reuben) has this issue where they are prompted to Download History for an exchange that is not enabled on their account. Clicking Download causes it to hang, so have to click Cancel.

This is caused by an exchange in the optuma.ini file being still being enabled, even though the data is no longer on their account.

In the above example the client was getting prompted for SFE data. In his .ini file he had this:

[Optuma\Data\Status\3]
3rdPartyEnabled=1

SFE has an exchange code of 3 in Data Admin.

Resolution

Set this to 3rdPartyEnabled=0 to prevent the prompt. If there’s too many exchanges to try and work out what one is causing it just delete the .ini file.
