Revert the Latest Optuma Update to the Previous Version

There are times when an update is not applied correctly or there is an incompatibility with your system. If that happens, it is easy to revert back to the previous stable version of Optuma that you were using as every update is backed up.

There are two ways that this can be done depending on whether you can still open Optuma or not.

OPTION 1

If you can still open Optuma, go to the Help menu and select Revert to Previous Build

OPTION 2

If Optuma will not run at all, then you will need to find the backup file manually. You will need to open My Computer or Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files\Optuma\Backup and drill into the folder of your last update (Date and then Time). Inside the folder, you will find a file called “RestoreFiles.bat”. Double-click on that file and the Update will be reverted.
