Why is there a small cross in front of the Mouse Pointer?

EXPLANATION

When the Lock Cursor to Price feature is enabled there will be a small x positioned in front of the mouse pointer.

When enabled the mouse pointer will automatically “lock” onto the open, high, low, close and midpoint of a bar. This is useful when wanting to apply tools such as Trend Lines to the high of a specific bar, for example.

SOLUTION

There is a toggle switch for the Lock Cursor to Price, to turn this feature off (or on) left click on the Padlock Icon in the Action Bar.
