How to retrieve System Information using DXDIAG
DXDIAG is a Windows diagnostic utility that allows collection of detailed information about a system’s hardware and Windows component configuration, with the option to save this information to a text file. The information in this file can be very helpful when troubleshooting technical issues related to the Optuma program.
Use the following procedure to create and save a DXDIAG report to include with support requests sent to the Optuma Support Department:
- Click on the Windows Start button in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen, or press the Windows key + R.
- Type dxdiag and hit Enter.
- When the DxDiag window finishes loading, click the Save All Information button. In the window that opens, click Save.
A text file called DxDiag will be created on your Desktop. This can then be attached to a ticket and sent to us for investigation.
