How can I see all calendar days (ie weekends and holidays) on my charts?

With Optuma it’s possible to show weekends and trading holidays on your charts, which can be particularly useful when working with cycles or time counts.

When enabled, the non-trading days will display as dashes on the chart, at the value of the preceding close:

Click on any bar and select Calendar Days from the Filters property:

In this example, the distance between the lows are 54 trading days, or 78 calendar days (as calculated by the Time Price Measure tool):

Note

When set to Calendar Days the Trading Day count (Bars) will match the Calendar Day count (Days) as the dashes are counted (ie they are both 78 on the Calendar Day chart on the right above).
