Adjusting Session Times for Realtime charts

If you have realtime data from a compatible provider then it’s possible to override the default session times, either for an entire exchange or on a symbol-by-symbol basis. This will ignore out of session ticks in the pre- and post-market hours.

Override Session Times for an Entire Exchange

Click on the Data menu button and then Exchanges to select the required exchange. Equity exchanges generally have one session, but it’s also possible to change times for exchanges that have two sessions. For example, the US Equities exchange would start at 9:30am and end at 4pm. Ignore Session 2 times.

Once changed, open an intraday chart and the chart will only show bars between those times.

Right-click on any bar and under the Data File Properties select Session Times:
