Publishing a Workbook to Microsoft Word

By Optuma Team · Updated 2021-06-23

With the Workbook Publisher open, ensure the **Word** checkbox is ticked.

You can select the Orientation of the pages created in the Word document (Portrait or Landscape). You can also select a Microsoft Word Template to use.

What is a Microsoft Word Template?

Note: From Optuma 2.0 and later, the Publishing module supports the latest file types for MS Word Templates.

Enter a Title, Description, and Author into the available fields.

If there are pages you wish to exclude from the Word document, un-tick the codes in the Select All Pages section.

Click the Publish button. In the window that opens type in a name to save the Word file as and adjust the location if you wish. By default, the Word document file will be saved in My Documents > Optuma > Printed Files.

Microsoft Word will also open automatically.
