Backup via Command Line Window

Depending on the size and number of files you have, the automated backups can take a while to run during the Optuma startup process (set to once a week by default).

One way to avoid this issue is to setup backups to run automatically using the Windows Task Scheduler at a time you aren’t using Optuma.

For information on how to use this component of Windows please refer to the following Microsoft Support Document.

The command line you will need to setup in the Windows Task Scheduler is:

optuma.exe -backup

This will trigger the backup process to run.

You can also run this process manually via the Command Line Window (cmd):
