Copy Data to Clipboard

It’s possible to copy the values of the price chart and calculated tools (such as moving averages, Bollinger Bands, and volume) to the clipboard, which can then be pasted to Excel for further analysis. The data can be copied separately, or all together.

Copy Price and Tool Data

To copy all price and tool data to the clipboard right-click on the chart background and select Copy All Data Lists to Clipboard from Actions. In this example, price, moving average, and volume will be copied for each bar (ie daily on a daily chart, weekly data on a weekly chart, etc):

All values can then be pasted to Excel, and may be needed to be converted to separated text columns under Data > Text to Columns:

Price Chart data only

To copy only the price values to the clipboard, right-click on any price bar and select Copy Data to Clipboard from the Actions menu:

Tool data only

To copy only the tool value to the clipboard, right-click on the tool and select Copy Data to Clipboard from the menu.
