My Data Isn't Automatically Updating

By Optuma Team · Updated 2017-05-11

Each time you log in to Optuma, the software connects to our data servers to see if new data is available for download. If there is, then the download process will begin automatically. However, it is not uncommon for security software to block this access, leaving you with incomplete charts.

If this is happening, please ensure that Optuma is given full access to the internet by your security software. With AVG security software, for example, you can add Optuma to the Resident Shield exception list which will prevent program and data updates from being blocked.

There are articles for some popular security software programs that will show you how to add Optuma to the exception list, you can access these articles here.

Please contact your security software provider if you are unsure of how to do this.
