Importing Bloomberg Portfolios into Optuma

Overview

The Portfolios from Bloomberg can be imported into Optuma using the Portfolio ID (found in the PRTU screen of the Terminal):

Once you have the ID, in Optuma, go to File - Open Symbol List.

In the window that appears click the New button and select Bloomberg Portfolio

In the new window that opens, enter the Portfolio ID and click Read Portfolio for the Codes, Position Size, etc to fill the table below.

Once the portfolio items are in view, click the Add Portfolio button on the bottom right corner of the page.

With the Portfolio now imported into Optuma you will be able to open the codes and view the other information (like Buy Price) by going to Files - Open Symbol List, selecting the Portfolio List and using the Open List As.
