Relative Strength Charts

By Optuma Team · Updated 2020-02-11

The Optuma 1.5 upgrade in Q1 2020 allows you to display a price chart (eg Bar chart, Candlestick, Point & Figure, Gann Swing) relative to a specified index or other security. By default, the relative index will be the main index for country where the stock is listed, eg ASX200 (XJO) for Australian stocks, S&P500 (SPX) for US, and FTSE100 (FTSE) for UK.

To change the price chart to a relative select the Relative Index option in the chart properties to select the default index, or select Custom Comparison Index and type the required code.

In this example, as you scroll down the watchlist the line chart will display as a relative to the XJO, as per the chart header description.
